Diatom enters the European market of repackaging of chemical materials

Danish company Diatom A/S has since 2010 offered repackaging services of chemical materials to the electronics market in Denmark. Throughout the years Diatom has witnessed a greater and greater demand for ready-to-use containers and in 2017 the company opened new refilling and repackaging facilities to meet the growing demand.

The new facilities now allow Diatom to enter the European market and to offer repackaging services to European electronics manufacturers looking to maximize productivity. Ready-to-use materials bring a lot of benefits that in-house repackaging can’t, such as ease of use, better working environment for workers, minimal product waste and no material contamination risk.

Diatom’s CEO Allan Orland explains: “Today custom repackaging is one of our specialties. We work with our customers to deliver the suitable packaging solution that will reduce their material preparation time and improve workflow. Furthermore, we provide lot traceability on all batches, individual labeling and the repackaged products always fulfill all specifications of original datasheet”.

Diatom’s repackaging services extend to many chemical types, viscosities and applications, such as adhesives, coatings, sealants, lubricants, greases and encapsulants from a variety of renowned manufacturers such as DOW®, MOLYKOTE®, Krytox™ and Dymax. The main repackaging formats provided include tubes, syringe barrels, cartridges, cans and buckets.
